Position Overview: As a Senior Structural Engineer/Surveyor specialising in insurance claims, you will spearhead the evaluation and analysis of structural damages. Your role will involve conducting meticulous inspections, generating comprehensive reports, and collaborating closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless claims resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

·Conduct thorough inspections of properties to assess structural damages arising from a variety of incidents, including natural disasters and accidents.
·Apply advanced engineering principles to accurately gauge the extent of damages and devise comprehensive reports detailing findings.
·Offer expert recommendations for repair, restoration, or replacement of damaged structures, in adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
·Liaise with claims adjusters, clients, and external partners to streamline the claims process and achieve timely resolution.
·Stay abreast of industry developments and advancements in structural engineering to enhance the quality and efficiency of claim assessments.

Requirements:

·Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.
·Demonstrable experience in structural engineering or building surveying, with a specific focus on insurance claim assessments.
·Profound knowledge of structural analysis, building materials, and construction methodologies.
·Proficiency in utilising engineering software for analysis and reporting purposes.
