A global leader in industrial automation and instrumentation solutions, mainly to the Process, Oil & Gas, Chemical and Pharma industries, are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

Info about what the role entails

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Assist in refining and evaluating the extant Project Quality Management system by establishing requisite protocols, blueprints, and operational directives as necessary.
• Supervise the enactment of the Asset/Project/Function Quality Management System through periodic audits and evaluations.
• Provide backing and oversight in implementing Yokogawa’s CDM QMS on projects.
• Generate project-specific quality documentation for client ratification, such as Quality Plans, ITPs, and Databooks with appropriate frameworks.
• Participate in and furnish input for technical HSE and integrity reviews.
• Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess quality performance across diverse stages of work development and project phases.
• Ensure the integration of QA requirements into Documents, Contracts, and Purchase Orders for both subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate quality standards within tender submissions and offer support during contract evaluation and award procedures for MWCs, Sub-Contractors, and Suppliers.
• Monitor and document compliance levels and instances of nonconformities.
• Lead or attend meetings to dispense professional QA counsel to the project team.
• Identify and manage risks that may impede the attainment of quality objectives.

Requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer

• Experience of applying CDM Regulations
• Background manging quality through full lifecycle of Design and Build projects
• Knowledge of ISO 9001
