Job Title: Trainee Engine Builder

Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £12P/h

Permanent Position (40 Hours)

Monday – Friday

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in engines and is looking to start their career in engine building. As a Trainee Engine Builder, you will work closely with our experienced team members to learn the ins and outs of engine assembly, testing, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior engine builders in assembling engines according to specifications and technical drawings.
• Learn to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow processes and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Join in engine testing and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in engine building.

Requirements:

• An engineering qualification or experience in a similar role (desirable but NOT essential)
• A keen interest in the automotive/motorsport industry.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
