With a rich history spanning over 30-years, our client is offering an excellent opportunity for a Assembly Technician to become an integral part of their production team, situated in the heart of Brackley.

This role is pivotal, with a strong focus initially on bonding plastic components as per technical drawings, a critical process in our manufacturing cycle.

Who Are We Looking For?

Ideal candidates will exhibit:

·A keen eye for detail and logical thinking.
·Proficiency with hand-tools.
·Prior experience in a manufacturing/production setting (advantageous).
·A confident, hands-on approach to tasks.
·Teamwork skills and the flexibility to meet changing demands.
·Basic computer literacy and maths skills.
·Ability to understand technical drawings (beneficial).
·A motivated and dedicated work ethic.
·An eagerness to learn and grow within the company.

Your Assembly Technician Role and Responsibilities:

As a pivotal member of our team, you will:

·Master the art of assembling plastic components, following detailed assembly diagrams and technical specifications.
·Accurately assemble electronic and mechanical components.
·Conduct final inspections of products to ensure top quality.
·Learn to solder PCBs and cable assemblies.
·Operate digital printers, bonding machines, and manage software installations post-training.

What Our Client Offers:

This full-time, permanent position features a Monday to Thursday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an early finish at 2:30 PM on Fridays. We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience in using hand-tools, including those with limited production background. Competitive starting salary between £11.50 and £12.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
