Job Title: Maintenance Engineer               

Location: Ilkeston

Pay Range/details: £38,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Days - Mon to Thurs 7am to 16:00pm + Friday finish at 15:30pm

Omega have partnered with a leading manufacturer who are on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician to join the team on a permanent basis. The company is looking for someone with a strong Maintenance background who has worked within Engineering. Ideally more Electrically biased.

Key Responsibilities – Maintenance Engineer

• Providing PPM support on mechanical and electrical problems.
• Maintenance & repair of electrical control systems.
• Fault finding on control systems.
• Solve Electrical & Mechanical repairs on extrusion systems.
• Complete electrical & mechanical installation work.

Qualifications & Requirements – Maintenance Engineer  

• Strong experience with Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance within a manufacturing environment (60/40 electrical).
• Can work off and interpret electrical & mechanical schematics/drawings/diagrams.
• A recoginsed apprenticeship or qualification would be desirable.
