Electrical Technician (Field Service/Pumps)

£27,000 to £45,000 Per Annum DOE + Overtime Premiums + Pension + Private Healthcare + Life Assurance + Critical Illness Cover + Full Training + Call Out Rota

Typically working 45-50 hours per week, occasional stayaway

Electrical Technician required for a professional and friendly engineering company. This is a great opportunity to get stuck into a busy and varied role. Offering full training and a personable working environment.

The successful Electrical Technician will have previous electrical experience from any background industry, and will hold a 17th or 18th edition. You will need to be able to work flexibly, work well as part of a team and be able to manage your own time effectively. Fault finding experience would be advantageous.

The Electrical Technician Role:

  •  Attending breakdowns where necessary.
  •  Service, assembly and repair of pumps and pumping equipment.
  •  Complete site reports after each visit and obtain customer signature.
  •  Driving to and from sites within the UK.
  •  Ensuring the correct materials are available and stocked into the company vehicle before leaving Head Office.
  •  Be responsible for petty cash and company credit cards.


The Successful Electrical Technician:

  •  You will have previous electrical experience from any background industry, and will hold a 17th or 18th edition.
  •  Level 3 period testing and inspection and level 3 electrical installations is required. 
  •  Competent working on 3 phase motor systems.
  •  You will preferably hold a valid CSCS card and be CSTS (confined space) trained.
  •  Fault finding experience would be advantageous.
