MACHINE OPERATOR

 Due to exponential growth we require Slitting Machine Operators to join the Company located in Pershore 

Working within an automated printing environment, your main responsibilities will be to is to ensure the Slitting machines are operating to maximum efficiency, ensuring that designs are slit within a target time frame and to the customer specification.

To organise ancillary products/equipment to provide a well organised and safe place of work including, WIP and finished goods ensuring materials are available as required for the next process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Operating a Slitting Machine

Enabling the Slitting Machine to run at optimum speed

Once unloaded, wrap finished rolls of film and load onto pallet

To achieve set targets on a daily basis, whilst producing work of the highest quality and producing an excellent finished product.

 Checks for product quality and removes any defective material

Follow a set production plan

Good computer skills to input data

Loads and unloads rolls from the machine 

Key Skills & Attributes:

Working knowledge of slitting machines is desirable however full training will be given

Good verbal and written communication skills

Computer literate

Able to work as part of a team

Applicants will be required to work shifts.
