We are currenlty looking to employ a site engineer to work in the bournemouth area working on multi-site water projects for a large client of mine. The Site Engineer Role:

As a Site Engineer, you'll be a key part of the team. This team are delivering the construction, commission and transfer into supply of a new Water Treatment Works (WTW) to replace the existing WTW in the Bournemouth water supply area during AMP7. Your responsibilities will have you assisting with the technical compliance of the project to the design specification of allocated work scope safely, to schedule dates, within budget allowances, and to the required quality.

Your day to day will include:

  • Completion of construction records and assisting in the preparation of 'as-built' drawings and schedules.
  • Assisting in managing systems to enable the progress of work to be reviewed against time, quality, and cost.
  • Assisting in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, i.e. drainage, concrete, blockwork etc.
  • You will be responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances and checking the workforce understand of the technical requirements.

What are we looking for?

This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:

  • You hold a relevant CSCS card and current SSSTS or SMSTS.
  • You hold a relevant technical qualification (ONC / OND / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree).
  • You are self-motivated with a pro-active approach to work and a strong attention to detail
  • You have experience on a major civil engineering scheme in a regulated environment.
  • You'll have relevant knowledge and experience of engineering requirements, quality control and data management systems and the processes used, ideally from within a large multi-disciplinary project. This should include, or you should be willing to learn, to achieve a level of competency in a BIM and Autodesk related environments.
  • You hold a full UK driving licence
