Programme Manager – Portland, Dorset – Permanent - £65,000 per annum

A medium sized Defence company is seeking to hire a Project Manager or Programme Manager to work from their manufacturing facility in Portland (near Weymouth, Dorset).

The successful candidate will need to be eligible for Security Clearance but will be able to start the job prior to receiving this.

This job would suit a candidate with a background in managing design and production projects in a manufacturing, preferably Defence, environment.

The company is entering a period of revenue and headcount growth so this position has the potential to evolve upwards. Its an exciting time for someone to join this business as there are numerous interesting and challenging projects on the horizon.

You’ll be responsible for liaising between Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Customers to ensure products are manufactured on time. This positions requires someone who can work very autonomously and take ownership of the role.
