Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Food Industry)

Salary: Up to £41,600 + Overtime Available

As part of our commitment to maintaining excellence in food production, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical maintenance and repairs on food processing machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and tests on electrical systems to ensure food safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address cross-functional issues and ensure compliance with food industry regulations.
• Adhere to strict health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Provide holiday cover for early start engineers, including occasional weekends and bank holidays, to ensure uninterrupted food production.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment used in food processing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially regarding food safety.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and bank holidays for holiday cover.

Package:

• Salary: Up to £41,600 per annum.
• Weekend overtime available at premium rate.
• 29 Days Holiday
• Bank holiday work compensated with holiday pay and a day off in lieu.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (Flexible)
