Role Definition
- To undertake diagnostic fault finding, repairs and installations on vehicle mounted compressors and generators installed onto commercial vehicles to a constantly high standard. Supplied to customers associated third parties and fleet management organisations
- To carry out schedule and warranty servicing on vehicle mounted compressors and generators installed onto commercial vehicles works effectively and in a timely manner.
- To promote a positive Company image with the customer.
- To manage client communication in a diplomatic manner when discussing issues relating to maintenance costs and system performance.
Experience
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience of working of commercial vehicles or plant
- Relevant qualification is extremely desirable
- Technical competence is essential
- A good working knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems is essential.
- Experience in fault diagnostic and a good working knowledge on commercial vehicles is essential
- A full clean driving license is essential for this job
- Health and safety awareness is essential
40 hour week + paid overtime available
