We have a fantastic company who supply the Oil & Gas industry who are looking to expand their team by appointing a new Design & Project Engineer.

What will your day to day activities as a Design & Project Engineer include?  

This position will be based from Kidderminster working Monday – Friday on a 37 hour week (flexi-time is offered but core hours must be met of 8 hours Monday – Thursday, 5 hours on Friday). The role will be responsible for various ongoing projects including cost-effective design, obtaining materials, creating engineering documentation and much more. Design works will be carried out via Solidworks creating designs for filters, strainers, pressure vessels and more.

What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?

  • Qualified to HNC level in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Confidence with Microsoft packages.
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat.
  • AutoCAD and Solidworks experience is essential.
  • ASME code knowledge is greatly advantageous.
  • Experience designing filters, strainers and pressure vessels / experience working in the Oil & Gas industry is highly desirable.
