Package

Basic Salary - £33,000 - £37,000

Holidays – Starting at 21 days, plus Bank holidays growing year on year via service 

Hours – Offering a flexible 5/6 day working week, with some flexibility on start and finish times, with an anticipated 38 hours per week minimum 

Responsibilities of the In-House Gas Engineer role to include – 

  • To help conduct remote surveys for new boiler installations, with future development to include heat pumps and air conditioning installations

  • Provide technical support to on-site engineers, offering expert advice and support as required during installations 

  • To help review, audit and complete engineer follow up’s on completed installations 

  • Supporting our internal sales and customer services teams with technical support, advice and problem solving for consumers, offering guidance throughout for all parties

  • Co-ordinating re-calls / re-visits for engineers, and supporting our After Care team with any installation questions and follow up’s

  • Managing and supporting the ordering of kit and materials for upcoming installations and re-calls

Experience is a must for this role, and we are looking for the ideal candidate to have the following in place – 

  • Gas qualifications, demonstrating expertise within the field 

  • Have a knowledge of fault finding, wiring, current legalisations and a wide range of knowledge of diverse heating system configurations 

  • Be a collaborative team player, and to have the ability to work as part of a growing team

  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and remain support with increasing work loads, and the evolution of the role

  • Ideally having FGAS qualifications and Heat Pump qualifications (although not essential)
