QUALITY CONTROLLER
Lichfield / Tamworth Outskirts, Permanent

EMBS Engineering are supporting a reputable, market-leading precision engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of small to medium sized safety critical components for high profile, lucrative customers.

Due to further expansion of the quality team, our client is looking for a Quality Controller to join them on a permanent basis working on a regular day shift - early finish on Fridays.

The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for ensuring all administration is completed in a swift and accurate manner. You will be responsible for producing and maintaining quality documentation to the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities;

• Support the daily, weekly, and monthly Quality Systems updates 
• Maintain and update Quality records 
• Analise quality data and generate reports
• Organise external calibrations 
• Liaise with departments to promote a standard of product and documentation excellence
• Produce final release documentation (certificates of conformity, customer concession documentation,  despatch documentation etc.) 
• Review work route cards and other quality-related documents for compliance to customer requirements
• Other duties may be required in line with current responsibilities

Skills Required;

• Strong administration experience gained within manufacturing / engineering environment
• Knowledge of Quality procedures and documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Methodical and meticulous work process
• Strong communication skills
• Exposure to quality documentation (certificates of conformity, quality packs etc.)
• Computer literacy - MS Office
