Welding QC Engineer

Location: South Lincolnshire, Rutland, North Cambridgeshire
Salary: £45-55K Depending on Experience + Excellent Package

The COMPANY

Our client is a well established Global manufacturer of power generation/combustion equipment to a variety of industries including petrochemical, power stations, oil & gas, etc. Their market leading comprehensive product range includes thermal oxidizers, burners, flare systems and pollution control equipment.

The ROLE

Due to continued growth of their EMEA business an opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Welding QC Engineer to join their successful team. You will be responsible for a variety of QC functions, concentrating on welding, including;
* Non-destructive testing and weld inspection
* Quality control of fabrication
* Carry out Weld Audits to ISO 3834
* Project Processes are compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001
* Knowledge of ASME & CSWIP 3.1
* Help QHSE within the organisation
* Continuous improvement
* Internal & supplier audits
* Quality control & inspection of manufactured equipment

The CANDIDATE

The successful Welding QC Engineer candidate will be a talented and intelligent engineer with the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. You will require;

* A good engineering skill set (Apprenticeship, HND, Degree, etc.)
* QC Experience within a manufacturing environment
* Fabrication/Welding knowledge
* NEBOSH/IOSH desirable
