Trainee Production Programmer

Are you looking for your first role in Production Programming? Perhaps you are ready to learn more and take the next steps? Have you had exposure to working on a shop floor and would like to take this to the next level? If so, we are looking for a Production Programmer for a manufacture in Henstridge and they are able to provide training for this position.
As part of this position you will create CNC machine programmes for manufacturing, understand basic 2D CAD skills, read and understand engineering drawings and confirming programmes from this, managing the scheduling of CNC machines and checking progression, quoting lead times, liaising with the sales department to ensure customer delivery dates can be achieved, maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is updated.
This position is 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday 8.00 – 17.00 with a 1-hour unpaid break. Due to the training opportunity, this position has a salary range of £23,800 - £28,000 depending on the level of experience of the candidate.
