Job Title: Design Engineer

Location: Camberley

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000  

Type: Permanent, Start date ASAP

We are the Design and Manufacturer of a range of instrumentation products and systems, designing down to the component level for major Aerospace and Automotive organisations across the world. Currently, we are seeking additional members for our Design team. We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer, developing and manufacturing their products being involved with the full product life cycle. This is a great opportunity for someone who is very hands on, wants full exposure to engineering skills and is eager to take on new projects.

Design Engineer responsibilities:

• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings along with assembly and BOM information suitable for small batch/low quantity productions
• Design and construction of experiments and prototypes to substantiate product intent
• Hands-on assembly of and modifications to electronics and electromechanical systems and pneumatics
• Advise on general mechanical issues and assist other departments when necessary
• Occasionally visit customer or supplier sites to deliver and discuss design requirements

Requirements for the Design Engineer:

• Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 2 years mechanical design experience
• 3D Design experience
• Strong communication skills
