Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

My client is one of the UK's leading maintenance service providers, currently seeking an intelligent and personable Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover the maintenance operations within a critical environment based in Newcastle.

This role would suit an individual that can work using their own initiative and have a proactive approach to undertake all tasks required, a conscientious and reliable team player and someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Job Specification:

• To attend sites to ensure that the maintenance, servicing and repair works are carried out in accordance with current relevant legislation.
• Reactive, PPMs ad general maintenance
• To communicate regularly and effectively with clients, suppliers and other personnel
• To organise works allocated time efficiently and work supportively within a team.
• To complete site logs and site diaries on a daily basis.
• To submit clear, concise and accurate task sheets and reports.

Package:

£40,000 Per Annum + Overtime Available

Monday-Friday 8-5

25 days annual leave + bank holidays

The Person:

• Mechanical Qualification
• At least 3 years experience
• Demonstrate Strong Communication and People Skills due to client facing role.
