Structural Engineer - required for our client Home based in the South and London, The Structural Engineer will have 2 year's experience as a Structural Engineer with defect, diagnosis experience carrying out a range of Structural Surveys using innovative Technology this oportunity will provide mentoring towards Chartership will be provided.

The Structural Engineer will be working for a company that operate across the UK specialising in Structural Inspections supported with a Structural Design team. The Structural Engineer will be field based providing structural inspections using new digital technology on a range of Residential, Commercial and Historic Buildings.

Structural Engineer Position Overview

• Communicate with sales staff to plan survey delivery
• Inspection of all types of buildings and structures
• Preparation of digital reports, live on site
• Preparation of specifications for remedial works
• Providing technical support for Buildings Insurance claims
• Working on subsidence, fire and storm damage
• Reporting to the Director and providing progress reports
• Developing new ideas
• Using the latest software's

Structural Engineer Position Requirements

• Degree within Civil or Structural Engineering
• Min. 2 years post graduate experience in the inspection and reporting on structural defects (essential)
• Excellent knowledge of traditional and non-traditional construction
• Structural Design Experience
• Graduate Member of IStructE and ICE, working towards chartered status with MIStructE or MICE
• Full UK driving licence and own car
• Ability to work alone

• Competitive Salary £40-£45K
