Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer required to join a leading supplier of hydraulic, and pneumatic products.
 
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic related products at customer sites across the Midlands.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer will ideally have a service engineer background in hydraulics, pneumatics, hoses, valves, actuators, power packs, pumps, cylinders filtration, motors, and or similar fluid power products / systems.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer Role
  • To provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic related products at customer sites across the Midlands, like Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield, Northampton.
  • The Hydraulic Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of hydraulic systems such as hoses, cylinders, valves, and other hydraulic equipment at customer sites.
  • Installing Hydraulic products into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
  • Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various Hydraulic equipment.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
 
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer Requirements
  • Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.
    Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
  • Must have experience working on hydraulics, hoses, pumps, motors, cylinders, and or similar hydraulic / pneumatic equipment / systems.
  • The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
  • A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Homebased, willing to travel and stay away when required.
