Mon - Thurs: 8am - 4.30pm
Friday: 8am - 3.30pm

My client is looking for an experienced Winder to join them. With the new warehouse up and running they are expanding their team and looking for candidates to join them. Being an enormous organisation who has sites all over the world, you are joining a family who have an excellent reputation and have managed to maintain this rapport for decades. Working with some of the world's largest brands, my client is an essential fit to the engineering world ensuring all areas of support are provided.

In this role you will use your experience and skills to meet the needs of our customers in some of the below areas:

• Testing of AC/DC electrical motor winding.
• Correct use of burnout techniques.
• Detailing of AC/DC motor windings Rewinding of same.
• Connection and Testing of Windings.
• Impregnation and Stoving methods.
• Use of specialist tools Assistance with other key tasks within the workshop.
• The role will involve working standard day shifts with the opportunity to work overtime and to work on site with customers on some occasion

What we will hope to see from you

• Driving license. This must be a clean UK licence.
• You will have a formal training or qualification in winding within a motor environment
• Experience of both AC and DC winding, although just AC would be considered.
• You will be confident in carrying out fitting task as well as winding.
• The ability to demonstrate the safety of you and your colleagues is your priority above all others.
• Work well with a team and independently.
