Job Title: Commissioning Engineer.
Location: Croydon, South London.
Salary / Benefits £26k - £45k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with a longstanding Water Treatment / Commissioning company who hold a strong presence in the South East of England. They are now seeking to take on a Commissioning Engineer to cover contacts across the London / M25 area. You will be responsible for providing Commercial and Domestic clients with the full range of commissioning duties and will be confident in carrying out balancing air and water systems and primary / secondary systems e.g., AHU, CHW, LTHW, measuring balance flow rates and working from building plans and schematic drawings.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Chatham, Dartford, Gravesend, Gillingham, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Canterbury, Epsom, Reigate, Woking, Guildford, Crawley, Horsham, Haslemere, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Brentwood, Cheshunt, Chelmsford, Maldon, Harlow, Braintree.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working hands on as a commissioning engineer.
" Holding CSA grade 2 or above is essential to the role.
" Will have in-depth knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / CIBSE guidelines.
" Will come from a strong water treatment, chemical and technical background.
" Able to demonstrate excellent communication / organisational skills.
" Good IT skills.
The Role:
" Working on Commercial and Domestic sites, carrying out balancing of air and water systems.
" Conducting balancing of primary and secondary systems e.g., AHU , CHW and LTHW.
" Using information from site to produce detailed comprehensive reports.
" Ensuring all equipment is calibrated prior to balancing water systems.
" Measuring balancing flow rates.
" Preparing work for witnessing in a timely manner, liaising with external witness contacts.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with building plans and schematic drawings.
" Working in accordance with relevant Health & Safety / CIBSE guidelines.
Alternative Job titles: Commissioning Engineer, Senior Engineer, Service Engineer, Ventilation Engineer, Process Commissioning Engineer, Assistant Commissioning Engineer.
