Job Title: Fire Damper Engineer.
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits £25k - £35k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a leading multi-disciplined Environmental Company with a strong presence in the North West Region. They are now seeking to take on a Fire Damper Engineer to cover the North West, carrying out fire damper duties on Healthcare, Educational, Pharmaceutical, Commercial and Residential sites. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a continuously growing company who prides itself on delivering high quality services to their longstanding clients. Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working for an established Fire / Health and Safety company, working hands on as a fire damper.
" Will hold an industry recognised qualification e.g., BESA Fire Damper.
" Must have excellent time management skills.
" Will have good IT skills.
The Role:
" Carrying out maintenance, installation, and servicing of fire dampers.
" Carrying out inspections on fire doors.
" Ensuring that fire dampers are installed in accordance with relevant guidelines and manufacturing requirements.
" Providing clients with detailed reports based on site findings.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
Alternative Job titles: Fire Damper Engineer, Fire Damper Technician, Fire Engineer, Fire Stopper.
Overall the successful candidate will bring their excellent technical experience working in the fire risk industry and will demonstrate a strong work ethic. Prospective candidates must also be prepared to travel extensively as per client requirements.
