Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Commissioning Service Engineer to join our client on a permanent contract.

You will be responsible for the commissioning, installation and servicing of bespoke industrial furnaces & ovens for our clients customers across the UK.

You will have experience in electrical installations & servicing, working in a industrial environments and working on industrial products. You will be based out of our clients base but will be travelling from site to site during installations & servicing of products, so a driving license and ability to work away is a must.

Duties will include:

• Commissioning bespoke industrial ovens and furnace's, on-site as part of a team.
• Installing all components into products, setting everything up for customers upon delivery/arrival.
• Working on all electrical components and wiring to complete installation.
• Working away on-site in industrial settings.
• Completing maintenance & servicing work on products.
• Fault finding, testing & installing electrical components.

Experience required:

• Experience as a commissioning engineer is essential.
• You must hold valid City & Guild 18th edition, 2382-22 certificate.
• Experience in inspection & testing.
• Experience working in an industrial environment is a must.
• Fault finding, excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve any electrical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods.
• Familiarity with local and national electrical codes.
• Reading & working from detailed engineering/electrical schematics and drawings.

Due to the nature of the role, we are unable to consider domestic electricians/service engineers. You must be an experienced commissioning servicing engineers with electrical bias.

As you will be working away, you must hold a valid & clean UK driving license and are able to work away, as well as some nights away when required to.

This is a permanent role paying up to £45,000 Per Annum - Dependant on experience.
