A globally recognised and well-established organisation based in Buckinghamshire is looking to recruit a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer on a permanent basis.

The primary function of the role is to ensure the effective instillation, build, and commissioning and subsequent operation of numerous high-value and high-speed production machines and associated equipment.

Key tasks include:

  • Working for a prestigious and well-established organisation as part of their Global Engineering Team. 
  • Supporting installation and commissioning projects across the UK and abroad.
  • Leading technical development and continuous improvement strategies to improve equipment efficiency.
  • Providing training and support on machine operation and maintenance planning.

To be considered candidates will need to have previous engineering experience in installing and commission complex automated production machinery . A formal technical qualification in mechanical engineering is also required (ONC/HNC/HND). As the position involves up to 50% planned travel (both UK and International) there is a requirement to flexible to stay away 1-2 weeks at a time. 

The position is based on site Monday to Friday with a 37.5-hour week. As well as a competitive salary the position comes with 34 days holiday, company pension scheme, life insurance, private healthcare and an annual bonus.
