We require an experienced machinist for our successful, worldwide established, client. This client has a lot to offer and for the right person, there will be progression and further opportunities.
Your duties would be to carry out a range of machining tasks instructed by your head of department and make sure your work is carried out to the highest standard and in an allocated timescale. You will make sure all safety checks are made on tools and equipment used. All work is to precision and made from blank metal and other composite materials. You must be able to apply screw cutting techniques and read and interpret drawings to detail. You must be highly experienced in the following:
- Horizontal and vertical boring machines
- Milling machines
- Grinding machines
- Turning lathes
Your qualifications must be in machining and engineering.
Your hours of work will be a standard day shift pattern.
The rate of pay will be £18.37 basic with bonuses and overtime.
It could be an immediate start for the right person.
