Our client requires an experienced valve technician to join a professional and pro-active team within a workshop environment. This client has been very successful and wants people who want to stay, have potential and progress through the business.
Your duties would be to carry out a range of tasks in the workshop and adhere to all safety procedures and make sure all work carried out is to the company’s quality standards. You must be able to repair and maintain a wide range of valves and carry out all duties within required timescales. You must be able to pressure test valves and safety check all tools before use. You will be required to enter data onto a database so IT skills are a must have in this role.
Your qualifications must be in engineering/ mechanical and your work history must include a heavy involvement in valve work.
A good working pattern is offered and plenty of overtime will be available.
Salary within the region of £45,000 - £50,000 including a reasonable amount of overtime worked.
Ideally you would be within daily travelling distance of this client as no lodging etc. is paid.
This role will involve UK wide travel, at times, so would suit someone who has worked in a similar position.
