Skilled / Semi Skilled CNC Turner required, Finedon Road Industrial, Permanent Opportunity, Competitive Salary depending on experience

We are recruiting for a driven and enthusiastic CNC Machinist to join our clients Production team as a CNC Turner.

My client is a precision engineering company who manufacture parts for machinery that are used within the aerospace, automotive, hydrogen gas and oil and food sectors

As a CNC Turner you will be operating a rang of Lathes including C Axis Lathes mainly Doosan brand all of which have FANUC Controls. You will be be operating and Setting Lathes which will range in size from 6" Chuck machines up to 12" chuck. Having attention to detail, being able to work on your own or as a team are the key requirements for this role as well as flexibility.

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience in setting and operating the machines, and will be used to using FANUC Controls. Having some experience of programming would also be ideal with knowledge of CADCAM, however training will be given for the right candidate. To have a time served apprenticeship or City & Guilds 1 & 2 in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous.

The package on offer is the following

£31,000 PA for someone that is able to set and run the machines

Up to £37,000 PA for someone that is able to programme, set and run the machines.
