CAD Technician - Water Industry  

A leading tier-1 MEICA and Civil Engineering contractor delivering water and wastewater treatment projects is looking for a CAD Technician to join their office in Peterborough.

Your role will be to assist the project delivery and design team by producing 3D models and draft designs relating to the Civil, Structural and Mechanical aspects of the project. If you have experience in the water industry (or a similar process-driven environment and have an eye for detail, this is the role for you!

Duties for CAD Technician

• Use AutoCAD and Revit to produce comprehensive 3D models.
• Ability to produce accurate 3D models and drawings from an initial concept.
• Translate the 3D models into detailed 2D sheet drawings.
• Maintain documentation relating to the design process.
• Work collaboratively with the project delivery and design team.

Qualifications/Experience for CAD Technician

• Experience working within a similar role (ideally water industry)
• Experience using Revit and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Plant3D, Civil3D or Navisworks
