Akton are recruiting on behalf of a client who is looking for a BMS Engineer to join their team in London.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest safety and quality standards are met and always maintained.
- Engage customers on the features and benefits of their control systems, ensuring its functionality are understood.
- Provide energy efficiency advice to customers.
- Awareness of the environmental impact of energy consumption on the environment.
- Ability to articulate the impact and benefits of increasing energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption to customers.
- Produce Field Quotes.
- Work with other branches, companies or external service providers or vendors to resolve problems.
- Contribute to the growth and productivity targets set by the business.
Requirements
- BMS and/or Controls knowledge in one or more of the following BMS systems: Schneider, Trend, Siemens, Tridium.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency processes and practices.
- Electrical Competency
- HVAC plant application knowledge
- H & S Accreditation (CSCS Card or equivalent)
- Asbestos Awareness
- IT Literate with experience of MS Office Products
- Clean driving record
- Technical experience to cover installation and commissioning work at the required levels.
