Fabrication Supervisor

Ashford

C£30k + monthly bonus OTE £37K

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fabrication Supervisor to join a busy Manufacturing business who are at an exciting point of expansion, in their plush facilities based in Ashford!

As Fabrication Supervisor, your duties will include:

• Encouraging and motivating the fabrication team to reach KPIs and be productive with workload.
• Dealing with breakdowns and fixing any problems with CNC machines and any other tools, in order to limit downtime.
• ‘Hands on’ machining, fabrication and manual work as required.
• Confirming all materials are available and ready for use in good time; administrative duties.
• Driving fork lifts where required
• Ensuring Health & Safety guidelines are being adhered to at all times.

The successful Fabricator / Saw Operator will have / be:

• Fabrication experience within a Manufacturing company
• Previous experience working from technical drawings and/or diagrams.
• Able to work effectively as a team, in order to promote cost effective production, whilst maintaining high levels of product quality.
• A good work ethic with excellent skills
• A passion for manual work
• A good attention to detail
• Good numeracy skills, as well as the ability to use MS Excel.
