Working for a specialist robotic packaging equipment company the Field Service Engineer will travel to client sites across the UK to perform reactive and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment. Candidates must have excellent mechanical skills ideally with bagging, weighing and handling equipment experience.

The role:

• Full-time based at client sites you will work with single man operations to multinational blue chip companies.
• Responsible for troubleshooting, technical support, preventive maintenance, and customer service.
• Interacting with customers, engineers, and other staff to ensure efficient and effective resolution of issues.
• Training on company equipment will be given
• Saying out overnight up to 2 nights per week is a feature of this role

What's required:

• Field Service experience and Technical Support skills
• A relevant technical diploma or an engineering degree will be required
• Experience of troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance
• Good communication and customer facing skills able to project a good image for the company
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is prerequisite
• Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience working in the packaging or automation industry is an advantage
• A Full UK Driving License is essential
