The Role:
To analyse and troubleshoot technical issues in relation to IT, networks and media players, communicating any reports to relevant teams.
Key duties include:
- Analyse any technical issues to find the root cause of recurring faults.
- Proposing a solutions to these technical issues and resolving where possible.
- Escalating any issues to relevant teams where required.
- Creating detailed reports on any faults and resolved issues.
- Assembling test racks and testing hardware.
- Modifying the configuration of media players.
- Responding to service tickets.
Essential Qualities and Skills:
- The ability to manage communication between numerous departments effectively.
- A strong problem solving mentality with the ability to find the root cause of technical issues and come up with a solution.
- Good all round knowledge of IT and networks.
Preferred Qualities and Skills:
- 3rd line support experience.
- Knowledge of AV systems.
- Experience supporting bespoke software applications.
