Job Title: Multiskilled Engineer

Location: Lincolnshire 

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000

Shift Pattern: 3 On & 2 Off pattern

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Multiskilled Engineer to join our team. As a Multiskilled Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day engineering maintenance activities on site. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, including food safety and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Assist with routine safety audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any near misses or safety concerns to relevant management personnel.
- Support audits and address any identified areas of concern within the business.
- Report any food safety issues or near misses to appropriate management personnel.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks on a daily basis.
- Support site engineering teams in maintaining machinery and equipment to a high standard.
- Respond to unplanned breakdowns and record downtime as necessary.
- Update maintenance records using the Maintain-X system.
- Analyze departmental needs and propose effective solutions to support business objectives.
- Support departmental projects and initiatives as required.
- Collaborate with lead engineers to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and root causes of failures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and seek opportunities to enhance working areas.
- Utilize company business software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SAP, as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar engineering role preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work on a rotating shift pattern.
