Full job description
This Field Service Engineer / Service Technician role is majority field based, (UK Wide) and you could be required to work onsite at the company's Head Quarters in Harrogate, dependant on business requirements, so ideal for a Field Engineer.

Key responsibilities for Field Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Electrical Technician / Electrical Engineer will be as follows:

1. Installation and staff training of Balers and Compactors
2. Carrying out Baler and Compactor machine repairs, servicing and maintenance on and off site
3. Diagnosing faults and problem solving to repair
4. Working on hydraulics and electrical circuits
5. Refurbishing balers and compactors to a high standard
6. Slinging and lifting machinery
7. Reading and interpreting engineer drawings
8. Preparation of digital service reports
9. Liaising with customers when on client site
10. Working with other internal departments

Field Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Hydraulics Technician Specification:

The ideal Field Engineer will:

1. Have experience working on Balers and Compactors
2. Have electric and hydraulic experience
3. Welding experience
4. Fabrication experience (desirable)
5. A full, clean UK driving licence

You will have strong communication skills, be able to use your own initiative and work well as part of the Engineering team.
Some flexibility will be required around working hours when required, to get the job finished. Overtime will be paid for all Field Engineer.
