Maintenance Engineer
up to £45,000pa, Mon to Fri 8am till 4pm, NN17 1QE, 32 days holiday, Permanent, immediate start

Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, our clients UK head quarters of a global manufacturing organisation have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join them. You will provide daily support to a busy production environment:

• Plan and carry out all PPM for production area and the site, to ensure machinery is maintained to levels that provides a smooth operation
• Prioritise daily reactive maintenance, to minimise production downtime
• Assisting other members of the Engineering Team on jobs when required
• Recording all work that has been carried out work, raising awareness of any re-occurring issues to management
• Educating setters on how to maximising the performance of machinery, and how to minor fault finding and fixing
• Working with Engineering and Production Management on site projects, which may involve the commissioning of new machinery

We would expect the successful Maintenance Engineer to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of injection moulding machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical components, be an excellent communicator and have a positive, proactive mindset. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineer, or a Site Engineer position.

You will be joining the Corby site of an international company who have successfully traded for over 50 years, and are continually thriving and growing their operation. You will be working directly with the Engineering Manager & Production Manager, this role offers variety on a daily basis.
