Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.

Role Purpose

We are currently hiring for a Document Controller to work from our Kingswinford office. This role can be offered on a hybrid basis.

This role will be working on our project with Portsmouth Water for the Havant Thicket Reservoir build over the coming few years.

The role

  • Ensure all documents and designs are stored in the correct locations across internal and external file-sharing platforms.
  • Ensure all documents are listed on the document & drawing registers and all superseded documents are archived accordingly.
  • Ensure all relevant documents are distributed to the relevant persons/parties as instructed.
  • Prepare and circulate notifications on CEMAR as instructed by the Bridges PM.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction, engineering or water industry.
  • Strong knowledge of document management systems and software (e.g., SharePoint, CEMAR)
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Certification in document control is a plus.
