Workshop Engineer

Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, a market leading engineering firm has an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Engineer to join them. You will be providing support to the Workshop Manager:

• Completing services on machinery, identifying, logging and fixing faults in a time efficient manner
• Refurbishing customer ex machinery for resale
• Stripping and reassembling gear boxes, wiring up and completing the mechatronics process
• Carrying PPM on machinery being delivered to the workshop, which has already had diagnosis from the companies field engineers
• Performing and recording pre-despatch inspections, raising awareness once complete, so despatch process can be finalised
• Working independently, as well as part of a established team to ensure targets are met

We would expect the successful Workshop Engineer to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of machinery refurbishment, and mechatronics, be an excellent fault finder and fixing, with a positive mindset, and a good eye for detail. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal for you if you have worked within Workshop Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Field Service Engineering position.
