Our client is a leading UK manufacturer and distributor within the swimming pool industry. They are currently looking for a Trainee Extreme Lining Installer to join their hardworking and busy team in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience within a practical role i.e. carpet fitter/sheet metal worker, possess a keen eye for detail and be prepared to learn all aspects of lining a pool. As a Trainee Extreme Lining Installer, you will be installing the companies extreme lining system as well as repairing all company products. You will also ensure plant, vehicles and equipment is kept in good working order as well as insuring the work area is clean and tidy.

This vacancy does require a valid UK Driving Licence.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Demonstrable experience of within a practical role i.e. carpet fitter/carpenter/construction worker or sheet metal worker
• Possess a keen eye for detail
• Be prepared to learn all aspects of lining a pool
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
• The role will include heavy lifting so the candidate must have a good level of fitness
• Must be prepared to work and stay away during the week

Your duties as a Trainee Extreme Lining Installer would be:

• Installation of the companies Extreme lining system to the highest possible standard
• Occasional installation and repair of any company product
• Driving to and from site around the UK
• Extensive travel around the UK, with nights away at site
• Liaising with the customer on site with regards to the individual requirements of the job in hand
• Liaise and deal with all staff, customers and clients in a professional manner
• Assist the manager in all aspects of running the department in order to maintain and expand the existing customer base
• Assisting in other departments when required

Salary and Reward Package:

• £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
• Overtime: paid or given as time to take at a later date or at time and a half once basic 41.5 hours have been completed or
• £45 per night is paid for every night you stay away from home on business

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday, 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 4pm: 41.5 hours (Basic) per week
• Some Saturday working may be required
