£35,000 - £45,000.

Working from flagship offices (one of which being designed by their Engineers themselves), they house some of the most impressive talent in the industry. Their service offering includes structural, civil and geotechnical engineering; to name a few, and due to strategic expansion, they are now looking for a number of Highways Engineers to join them. Working on commercial projects within a fast-paced environment, the key responsibilities for your new role as Highways Engineer are as follows:

• Independently undertaking conceptual and feasibility design, as well as detailed design.
• Balancing a number of projects, at any one time.
• Attending client and design team meetings to convey and relay key issues on technical matters, as well as programme, contractual and commercial matters, with support from colleagues and management.
• Coordinating with colleagues in other offices to ensure consistent standards are provided nationwide.
• Complying with company design, safety, quality and environmental compliance and procedural standards.

My client would love to hear from people who have a solid background in highway design and are familiar with S104, S38 and S278 sectional agreements. Regardless of previous expertise however, you will be a team-player, by nature, and be keen to grow and develop by working on a wide variety of engaging projects.

In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of £35,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience, with further opportunities for progression being readily available for those who want it.
