Smart Solution are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our client's team in the Swansea area. As an Electrical Engineer, you will utilize your expertise in fast-paced heavy industrial manufacturing environment, to play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation the business manufacturing activities within the water industry.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am to 4pm and Friday 8am – 2pm.

Duties:

• Utilise your solid experience in fast-paced heavy industrial manufacturing activities to troubleshoot electrical issues and optimize processes.
• Apply your knowledge and qualifications to HND/Degree level in Electrical Engineering to oversee and execute electrical projects and tasks.
• Demonstrate a strong background in electrical engineering discipline, encompassing continuous improvement processes, preventative maintenance techniques, and planning.
• Coordinate with contractors and external partners to ensure smooth execution of electrical projects and maintenance activities.

The candidates will have relevant experience in:

• AC & DC electrical drives
• Electrical power distribution networks up to 11kV
• PLCs, (fault finding and programming)
• Electrical fault finding and repair
• Reading circuitry schematics
• 18th Edition wiring regs
• Electrical drawing
• The Water Industry Mechanical and Electrical Specifications (WIMES)

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and MATLAB
- Strong knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) and soldering techniques
- Experience with system-on-chip (SoC) design and integration
- Familiarity with CAD software for electrical design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform detailed root cause analysis
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
