Senior Structural Design Engineer

Blueprint Recruitment is working with a multidisciplinary Consultancy, who are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join them on a permanent staff basis to operate in the Birmingham office.
The selected Structural Engineer will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of various Structural projects whilst ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Concept and Feasibility studies for projects
- Assist and mentor team members to promote development
- Design and specify all aspects of Structural works
- Producing design deliverables, including drawings, specifications and site surveys
- Working in a multi-disciplinary team where you will lead and oversee deliverables
- Build positive client relationships and help identify business opportunities
Key Requirements:
- Strong all-round technical design expertise
- Familiarity with the Birmingham area
- A degree in Structural Engineering
- Ability to maintain and develop good relationships with clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work as part of a team and independently when necessary
- Previously led the Structural Engineering delivery of projects
- Ability to prepare bids and proposals
- Able to make decisions and act on your own initiative
