Are you a seasoned Mechanical Estimator seeking an opportunity to excel in a dynamic environment? Our Client is looking to expand their Estimating team in London, contributing to a diverse range of commercial projects. As a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor operating across Ireland, Europe, and the UK, Our client are at the forefront of delivering excellence in sectors including Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre, and Petrochemical.

About the Role:

As a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in their pre-construction phase, ensuring the preparation and submission of competitive tenders within designated timelines. Collaborating closely with their team, you will leverage your expertise to analyze project requirements, source pre-project information, and liaise effectively with clients to understand their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and collate tenders, ensuring adherence to specified deadlines.
  • Deliver fast, accurate, and profitable estimates from inquiry stage to bid submission.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of sub-contractor/vendor quotations, assessing inclusions and exclusions.
  • Engage in post-tender meetings with clients, presenting proposals and addressing queries.
  • Provide support and guidance to the Estimating team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Attend tender and follow-up meetings as required, contributing valuable insights and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred background in Mechanical trade.
  • Building Services, Mechanical, or Quantity Surveying qualification advantageous.

Experience:

5-10 years of experience within an M&E contracting environment.
