Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Applications Manager to support the UK sales and distribution of HVAC products supplied by one of the largest HVAC manufacturers in the world. As an Applications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective application of our product range to HVAC design criteria, delivering reliable solutions and accurate quotations to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Applications Manager, you will be responsible for applying our product range to HVAC design criteria to deliver sound and reliable solutions, providing our customers with accurate quotations.
In your role as the Applications Manager, you will assist customers with advice and support as required, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
The Applications Manager will provide technical assistance to all employees in the UK and Ireland, ensuring that our team is equipped with the knowledge and expertise needed to excel.
You will work closely with sales and administration colleagues, accepting telephone orders and inquiries to ensure seamless customer service.
Maintaining familiarity with all supplied air conditioning and refrigeration products is a key responsibility of the Applications Manager.
As the Applications Manager, you will be tasked with enhancing the quality and effectiveness of the Midea design team by regularly monitoring service levels.
Managing the project database and maintaining standards and effectiveness of quotations are essential duties for the Applications Manager.
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships will be a priority for the Applications Manager, recognizing that some events may occur outside of normal working hours.
Effective communication with all team members is critical for the Applications Manager to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Ensuring compliance with Company Policies and Procedures in all aspects of your role as Applications Manager is essential.
Requirements:
The Applications Manager must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent IT skills, along with exceptional communication and customer service skills, are essential for the Applications Manager role.
Proficient use of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
Previous industry experience in design and application of HVAC equipment is essential for the Applications Manager position.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for success as an Applications Manager.
