Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

As the business embarks on this exciting journey, we are seeking a talented and ambitious Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team.

As a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth trajectory. You will work closely with their experienced engineering team to design and develop cutting-edge mechanical components and systems for their diverse range of products. This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to make a significant impact and grow their career in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

With all manufacturing conducted in-house this role allows Engineers to truly be involved in the full product life-cycle from concept through to manufacture.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop mechanical components and systems that meet project requirements and specifications.
• Utilise CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Conduct Engineering Calculations, Simulations and Analysis
• Assist in prototype fabrication, testing, and validation activities.
• Participate in design reviews, technical documentation, and report preparation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Previous internship or relevant work experience is a plus but not essential
