Job Title: Diesel Pump/Service Engineer

Location: Farnborough

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm

Contract: Permanent

Salary: upto £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Our client has an opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their team at their Farnborough Depot.

As one of their engineers, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of the company's range of HVAC/Diesel hire products, both on-site and at the depot.

Your main objective within this role is to ensure products perform to customer expectations and minimise future breakdowns.

As one of our Engineers, you will:

Responsibilities

• Repairing & servicing machinery and equipment.
• The diagnosis & rectification of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & functional
• Ensuring down-time of essential machinery is minimised
• Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard to meet expectations.
• Ensuring that all work/maintenance is recorded and carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures

The Candidate

• Must have the ability to diagnose and repair machinery
• Must have good knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and electrics.
• Must have welding experience.
• Should be able to drive a forklift.
• Will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management skills
• A UK driving licence
