Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a national food manufacturing company, who are one of the largest manufacturers in Ireland, the company in question are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

Job Role:
As an mechanical fitter, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site. This particular site is highly automated, the company provides some fantastic benefits for a individual and have a development pathway to enhance personal and professional development.

Typical Duties will involve:

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance of all equipment on site, Providing reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM's)
• Attending to machinery breakdowns, fault finding processing equipment, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery.
• Welding and fabrication maintenance
• Calibrate and repair pneumatics systems.
• Boiler and water inspections
• General onsite maintenance as and when required.
• Working effectively alone as well as part of a team of engineers onsite

Desirable experience

• Have to have a relevant Engineering qualification, Mechanical - (MAMF min)
• Have to be experienced in a manufacturing environment, food experience would be advantageous but not essential
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to read advanced mechanical drawings machinery.
• Experience of working with Advanced Safety Circuits
• Ability to work in Co Cork
