Hydraulic Fitter Position Overview

My client are currently looking for a Field Service Hydraulic Fitter based in the Leamington Spa area to be responsible for the build, testing and inspection of fluid power systems and components. This is a field-based role where you spend 75% of your time on site, however some work in the workshop would be required as well.

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting of hydraulic systems (in-house and on-site)
• Testing of hydraulic valves, cylinders, and accumulators and other components
• Setting of hydraulic valves and other components
• Testing of hydraulic systems (in-house and on-site)
• Build and testing of hydraulic hoses (swaging, flushing and testing)
• On-site services with the maintenance of hydraulic systems
• Undertake other tasks, within your capability, as directed by the Operations Manager
• Follow all company HSE and QA/QC Policy in line with any statutory requirements as directed
• Ensuring right First Time (RFT) completion of allocated tasks
• Undertake and complete all allocated tasks in accordance with the On Time Delivery (OTD) requirements of the operation

Hydraulic Fitter Position Requirements

• Clean, valid UK drivers' licence
• Good communication skills
• Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering
• City & Guilds
• Hydraulic Training (Preferably NFPC)
• Electrical competence

Hydraulic Fitter Position Remuneration

• £34,000- £38,000 DOE
