White Label are excited to be partnered with a specialist engineering business that manufacturer mechanical seals and rotating equipment in their search for an Area Sales Engineer.

This is a permanent position covering the Midlands and Southwest, paying up to circa £50k plus bonus.

The Role of the Area Sales Engineer:

• The role will be a mixture of Business development and Account Management / growing existing accounts with – 30/70  BD /account management split
• Promoting the full product range to Engineers and Buyers at OEMs and End Users across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharma, Power, Water, Industrial, Food and Paper & Pulp.
• Ideally spending 4 days on the road and 1 day a week from your home office
• Responsible for managing own diary and workload accordingly, but will probably have to stay away from home once a month
• Will have to go to the head office a few times a year

The Person:

• Ideally have a proven sales track record in Mechanical Seals or rotating equipment
• Ideally have a HNC or Degree in a related field, or if not, time-served Sales experience
• Must be able to read technical drawings
• Have a full driving licence

Salary and Package:

• Up to circa £50k annual salary 
• Structured bonus of around £5k 
• Car allowance or company car 
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays – increasing by 1 day for year of service up to a max of 30 days + BH
• Pension - employer contributions 6% and employee minimum contribution 2 %
• Private medical for employee and family members
