We are looking for a motivated controls and automation engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company in their respective field. You will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description
* Design and implementation of system upgrades to combat obsolescence
* Design and implementation of network infrastructure
* Development and commissioning of SCADA and Historian systems
* Design of control panel modification/upgrades
* Develop Electrical Schematics
* Work closely with the process engineer coming up with solutions to problems
* Energy monitoring and saving solutions

Skills and Qualifications
* HNC/HND Electrical qualification or equivalent
* Apprentice trained
* Experience with control system design
* PLC programming (Siemens/Mitsubishi)
* SCADA Development
* Safety System Design
* Project experience
